Not only is actor Alec Baldwin not doings lots of publicity for his latest flick, but he has actually called for fans to boycott Shortcut to Happiness an adaption of 1941's The Devil and Daniel Webster which opened July 13. The film was originally shot in 2001, and Baldwin lost his role as director when money ran short, though he is still credited as one of 17 producers. It may be best to steer clear of what Baldwin calls an "unrecognizable film," since a critic has already deemed it "one of the biggest train wrecks of all time."
